Emergency Plumber for Burst Pipes, Backups, and Leaks
When you need an emergency plumber, the first job is stopping the damage and the second is fixing what caused it. Our phones are open 24 hours Monday through Friday and 7 AM to 11 PM on Saturday and Sunday, and our crews work out of the Oxnard shop across Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
A real person answers. Tell us what is happening and we will talk you through the shutoff while the crew gets ready.
Call (805) 232-8380Pick your emergency
A few minutes of the right moves can save a floor, a wall, or a ceiling. Choose what is happening and follow the steps in order. If you are unsure about any of them, call and we will walk you through it.
If it is spreading, rising, or gone, call now
A plumbing emergency is anything that is causing damage right now or makes the building unsafe to use. A dripping faucet can wait for a regular visit from our plumbing crew. These cannot.
Water where it should not be
A burst pipe, a split supply line, or water coming through a ceiling. Shut off the main and call. The damaged section gets cut out and replaced once the water is off.
Sewage coming up
Waste in a tub, shower, or floor drain means the main line is blocked. It often takes hydro jetting to clear, and a sewer camera shows what caused it.
A leaking water heater
Water pooling under the tank, or no hot water at all. A leaking tank rarely gets better, and our water heater crew can repair or replace it.
No water at all
Check with a neighbor first. If their water works and yours does not, the cause is on your side: a closed or failed valve, or a broken line.
A gas smell
Leave first. Call the gas company or 911 from outside and wait for them to clear the house. Repairs come after the area is safe.
Signs of a hidden leak
The sound of running water when nothing is on, a warm spot on the floor, or a water bill that jumps. Leak detection finds it without tearing into every wall.
Stop the damage, then fix the cause
Manuel is outstanding. Right away he sent a technician over to solve our plumbing at our karate school. Reasonable rates and friendly tech. Family owned and operated.
What sets the price of an emergency call
No two emergencies cost the same, because no two failures are the same. These are the things that move the price. You hear the upfront price before any work starts.
Why pipes fail here
Near the coast, salt air corrodes exposed copper, hose bibs, and shutoff valves. A valve that has not been turned in years can seize at the exact moment you need it, so it is worth testing yours before there is a problem.
Hard water across much of Ventura County leaves scale inside water heaters and valves, which is a common reason tanks start leaking. In older neighborhoods, clay and cast iron sewer laterals let roots in at the joints, and winter rain is when those lines tend to back up. Many homes here also sit on slab foundations, so a supply leak can run under the floor before anyone sees water.
Emergency plumber questions
Straight answers to what people ask us most when something has just gone wrong.
Our phones are open 24 hours Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday we are open from 7 AM to 11 PM. Call (805) 232-8380 and a real person will answer during those hours.
Anything causing damage right now or making the building unsafe to use: a burst pipe, a sewage backup, a leaking water heater, or no water at all. If water is spreading or sewage is coming up, call an emergency plumber instead of waiting for a regular appointment.
Shut off the main water valve, keep people and pets away from standing water or sewage, and cut power to wet areas if you can reach the panel safely. Stop using water in the house during a sewage backup. We can talk you through each step on the phone.
Yes. Even on an emergency call, we look at the problem and give you an upfront price before any work starts. The price depends on what failed, where it is, and what parts and equipment the fix needs.
