Why the clog keeps coming back
A snake opens a hole. A jetter cleans the pipe.
A drain snake drills through the blockage and leaves most of the buildup stuck to the pipe wall. Water flows again for a while, then grease and debris catch on what is left and the line closes up.
A hydro jetter sends water at up to 4,000 PSI through a nozzle that sprays backward and to the sides. It pulls itself up the line and scours the full circumference, so grease, scale, and small roots wash down the line and out of the system. That is why jetting is the fix we reach for on lines that keep clogging.
Jetting is not right for every pipe. Badly cracked or collapsed lines need repair first, which is why we look with a camera before we jet.
