About Armor Plumbing & Hydro Jetting
Here is the short version about Armor Plumbing & Hydro Jetting: a family-run crew out of Oxnard, started in 2016, that handles plumbing and the hydro jetting work most plumbers hand off. Every job gets an upfront price and a cleanup before we leave.
Built one job at a time
We started Armor Plumbing & Hydro Jetting in Oxnard in 2016 with a simple idea: show up when you say you will, tell people what the job costs before you start, and do the work right the first time.
Over the years we leaned into the work a lot of plumbers would rather pass along. We invested in 4,000 PSI hydro jetters and sewer cameras, and that equipment became the heart of the business. Today most of our calls are hydro jetting and drain and sewer work for homes, HOAs, restaurants, and commercial buildings.
Plumbing is the other half of the work. Leaks, water heaters, repiping, and fixtures go to the same crews, priced the same way. We work out of a shop on Bogota Court in Oxnard and cover Ventura County and Santa Barbara County.

Three rules every crew works by
Manny set these three rules on day one. They are how we decide what to do on a call, on a job site, and when something goes sideways. Tap each one to see what it looks like in practice.
Show up when we say
It starts on the phone. You tell us what is going on, and we tell you honestly whether it needs a truck today or can go on the schedule. We would rather give you a time we can keep than one that sounds good. Phones are open 24 hours Monday to Friday and 7 AM to 11 PM on weekends, so a backup on a weeknight still reaches a person.
1 of 3 standards
The equipment behind the work
We do not rent the big gear or call someone else in for it. Two machines go out on every drain and sewer job, and the same crews fix what the camera finds.
4,000 PSI hydro jetters
A jetter sends water through a nozzle that sprays backward and to the sides. The rear jets pull the hose up the line while the spray scours grease, scale, and roots off the full pipe wall, instead of punching one hole through the clog.
Sewer cameras
Before we jet or quote a sewer repair, a camera on a push cable shows what is really in the line: roots at a joint, a belly where water sits, grease buildup, or a crack. That way the price is based on what is in the pipe, not a guess.
Repair on the same crew
When the camera finds a crack, a joint pulled apart, or a belly where water sits, the same crew prices the fix and does the work. You are not handed off to another company between the inspection and the repair.
Manny still runs the crews
Armor Plumbing & Hydro Jetting is owned by Manuel Mejia, Manny to most of the people we work for. He started the company, and he still holds every crew to the standard he set in 2016.
Being family-run shows up in small ways. Customers know the owner by name, and you deal with Manny and his crew from the first call to the final walkthrough. When a job is done, the crew cleans up the work area and walks you through what they found, what they did, and what to keep an eye on.
We work for homeowners, property managers, HOAs, restaurants, hotels, medical offices, and industrial sites. We also jet commercial kitchen lines on a schedule and take care of the leaks, water heaters, and repiping that homes need.
Manny and his crew did excellent grade A work on the complete remodel of my home, including new sewer and water lines. Trustworthy, thorough, great guy. Highly recommend.
